Return and Refund Policy

Return and Refund Policy

Effective date: September 2026 | Last updated: September 2026

Codecraft Technologies Company Inc. provides software subscriptions, digital products, and professional technology services. Eligibility for cancellation, return, or refund depends on the type of purchase, whether access or work has already begun, the circumstances of the transaction, any applicable agreement, and rights provided by Philippine law.

1. General Principle

We aim to handle refund requests fairly, transparently, and in accordance with applicable Philippine consumer-protection laws, including the Consumer Act of the Philippines (R.A. 7394) and the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (R.A. 11967).

2. Digital Products and Software Access

Once access to a digital product has been activated, a digital license issued, or a downloadable product delivered, refund eligibility may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect remedies available where the product is defective, materially different from its description, not delivered as agreed, or where a refund or remedy is required by law.

3. SaaS / Subscriptions

  • Users may request cancellation of future subscription renewals per applicable product terms.
  • Already-consumed subscription periods are generally not prorated unless product terms or law requires it.
  • Duplicate or erroneous subscription charges will be reviewed and, where verified, corrected or refunded.

4. Custom Software Development and Project Services

Custom software, web development, implementation, consulting, and other project work may involve discovery, planning, design, development, third-party expenses, and reserved personnel time. Refunds are governed by the accepted proposal, contract, or statement of work.

Amounts corresponding to work already completed or committed third-party costs may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law and the applicable agreement.

5. Eligible Refund Situations

  • Duplicate payment for the same order
  • Payment charged but order not successfully created or confirmed
  • Verified erroneous charge
  • Product or service not delivered as agreed
  • Material technical failure preventing use where Codecraft cannot provide a reasonable remedy
  • Cancellation within a period expressly permitted under applicable product terms
  • Circumstances where Philippine law requires a refund or consumer remedy

6. Generally Non-Refundable Situations

Subject to applicable law, the following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Change of mind after digital product or service has been accessed or used
  • Completed consulting or advisory work
  • Completed and accepted custom development milestones
  • Termination arising from misuse or breach of our Terms and Conditions
  • Technical incompatibility from an unsupported third-party environment where requirements were clearly disclosed
  • Already-consumed subscription periods

These exclusions apply except where required by applicable Philippine law.

7. Requesting a Refund

Contact us at inquire@codecraft.ph or our Contact page with:

  • Full name and email used at purchase
  • Order, invoice, or reference number
  • Date and amount paid
  • Product or service purchased
  • Reason for the request and any supporting documentation

8. Review Process

We aim to acknowledge refund requests within a reasonable period and may request additional information to verify the transaction. Complex cases may require additional investigation, including coordination with payment processors or other service providers.

9. Approved Refunds

Where approved, refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment channel or another lawful method agreed with the customer. Actual processing times may depend on PayMongo, the card issuer, the customer’s bank, the relevant e-wallet provider, or the applicable payment network.

10. Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us directly before raising a chargeback or dispute through their card issuer. Reaching out first allows us to investigate and resolve legitimate issues promptly. This does not prevent you from exercising any lawful chargeback right available to you.

11. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable Philippine law, including the Consumer Act (R.A. 7394), the Electronic Commerce Act (R.A. 8792), and the Internet Transactions Act of 2023 (R.A. 11967).
